Attend your local Diabetes Pre-pregnancy Clinic
- HbA1c – is it the correct target for pregnancy?
- Take 5mg folic acid (only available on prescription)
- Medication review for planning a pregnancy
- Diet and physical activity
- Smoking and alcohol advice
