encompass recruitment update28th November 2019
Over the last month recruitment for encompass has been progressing across all areas of the team.
Assessments are currently underway following the high number of responses to workflow analyst and principal trainer roles with interviews planned for December.
Posts for encompass Programme Manager (Training), Build Team Manager, Contracts Manager and Business Support Manager have recently been advertised and interviews are being scheduled for December / January. Recent recruitments have also seen the permanent appointment of Gary Loughran as Director of encompass, the appointment of Corrina Grimes, who joins us from the Public Health Agency to become Head of Business Change, and Senior Project Manager Lynda Dunbar, who has moved to HSCNI from the local government sector.
encompass is also working with Trusts to establish teams to support the local project, business change and ICT aspects of encompass. Development of job descriptions is currently underway.
In parallel with the recruitment drive work is continuing on the Full Business Case (FBC) and following the second review by the Department of Health, the FBC will be resubmitted at the end of November. encompass remains on track for approval and subsequent contract signing in early 2020.
In addition, the encompass Care Executive and the encompass Business Support Executive are currently being established. The encompass Care Executive is a regional group of multidisciplinary professional and clinical champions, who will ensure leadership in the configuration, design and delivery of encompass throughout HSCNI. Its first meeting will be held in December.
Nominations are being sought for membership of the encompass Business Support Executive which will provide assurance on the configuration, design and delivery of business support functions.
