Registered Dietitian Vanessa McMinn explains how to get your daily dose of vitamins from a healthy balanced diet.

“Without vitamins and minerals, our bodies wouldn’t be able to perform vital tasks such as converting food into energy; building and maintaining bones, teeth, muscle, skin, blood and hair and keeping our brain, eyes nervous an immune system in good working order.

“The majority of people can get all the vitamins they need from eating a healthy balanced diet and without the need to purchase vitamin supplements.”
