A workshop looking at designing and implementing health and social care services across the island of Ireland was held in Belfast recently.
Organised by the International Foundation for Integrated Care Ireland, in partnership with the Health and Social Care Board, the event on 29 November attracted academics, researchers, clinicians, policy makers, users and carers of health and social care services across Ireland.
The Board’s Director of Integrated Care Dr Sloan Harper and chair of IFIC Ireland, chaired the event in the Waterfront Hall.
Discussions focused on local delivery through Integrated Care Partnerships, an all-Ireland approach to social prescribing and an examination of digital enablers of integrated care.
